GY 100B-U
DESCRIPTION
       GY 100B-U is intended for use as a latent accelerator for the dicyandiamide cure of epoxy resins. It belong to an aromatic substituted urea compound without halogen element. The addition of GY 100B-U to epoxy/dicyandiamide formulations reduces the time and/or temperature required to cure these shelf stable one part products. GY 100B-U Provides the greatest degree of acceleration to epoxy/dicyandiamide formulations. Suggested use levels of GY 100B-U are ≤5 phr. Curing can be accomplished in about 50 minutes at 100℃ and in less than 5 minutes at temperatures≥140℃.Cure times are dependent on the composition of the formulated product and the particular end application. Room temperature(25℃) shelf lives(time to double viscosity)of one year can be obtained easily when it’s used with epoxy/ dicyandiamide. Some of the factors can effect shelf life including formulation ingredients and production process. Insoluble ingredients to GY 100B-U is suitable for prolonging shelf lives. The most significant advantage of GY 100B-U is long shelf life. The cured product is shiny, yellowish and semitransparent.

HEALTH＆SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
       GY 100B-U is a micro powder. It will cause respiratory irritation with prolonged dust inhalation. It’s necessary to wear goggle and mask in the process of production and transportation. The dust explosion may be caused if it is dispersed into the air.
